To be completely honest, I have never had a twitter, and I still do not understand how to use it. I found it to be super interesting the more I looked into things. I saw a lot of posts about how much animals helped with developing vaccinations, specifically for COVID-19. I retweeted about WCS's post about a new documentary about wildlife that is coming to Netflix soon, and it looks super interesting. It's crazy that you can find information about things like this along with articles about what is going on daily. I found and retweeted an article that talked about a law that now prohibits animals from being bred for their fur. Although this took way to long, and is still not implemented in other areas, it is nice to see people recognizing the cruelty and harm being done and doing something about it. I also found and retweeted a post that talked about planting new sea grass because a lot of it is dying out. I feel awful that this happened in the first place, but I am happy to see the UK taking steps to support ocean life by planting new sea grass. I started following Defenders of Wildlife, Earthjustice, Project Coyote, Sierra Club, Wildearth Guardians, Dolphin Research Ctr and Voyageurs Wolf Project in hopes of learning about wildlife conservation and environmental factors that effect animals. I also followed Richard Merrill, Benito Wainright, and Lauren Summer-Rooney because they study evolutionary biology of different species that I thought would be interesting to learn about. I am still navigating my way through twitter, but it looks to be a good way to find information so far.
