Hello everyone! My name is Carly Richter, and I am a second year student at UCI. I am an Urban Studies major and have a deep interest in environmental well-being, so when I discovered this was an animal research class I was super excited because there has been so much environmental injustice done to animals across the world. I was very curious to see what kind of environmental impacts effect dogs. I wanted to get to know a topic that meant a lot to me, and one of my very favorite animals is a dog. I figured this was a great opportunity to learn about how environmental impacts affect how dogs behave.
